This issue started to happen last week, most likely because I installed windows 10. The IControlInterface indicates that the interface needed for the IPart labeled "Microphone +20 dB Boost" is a IAudioGainControl.All of your recording devices that have been picked up by the Windows 10 operating system will appear here. Now the main issue with Windows 10 is that it does not let us to Boost USB Microphones from the Default Settings in the Taskbar.
